Best Proto Shield on the market!
I've used everyone's proto shields and this one and the Adafruit are the best. NKC's gets the advantage from the selectable 3.3/5V power bus and also the 4x4 breakout of the I2C bus. Always have one of these ready to use in your parts bin! This is a requirement in my opinion!

The description of this board is completely accurate and it does what is claimed. The connectors are the light-duty version (thin pins) and fragile. And large amounts of the real estate on the board are committed to various specialized chips/functions - more than is apparent from the photo. If you need to build an actual greenwire prototype, be sure there is enough room for all your parts. Only one or two ICs will fit,

You won't find anything less expensive, unless you order from China and pay hi priced s/h costs.
