good LCD shield
Salut, this is a nice inexpensive LCD shield and the UTFT library supports it, so the use is quite simple. The assembly is very tricky for the LCD connection to the board and requiers some experiance. If the LCD is not working, check the soldering there (I needed three attempts) The rest is simple and you get a very nice LCD for a few dollars (For European orders: the price is so low, that you do not have to pay import tax nor VAT) Cio, Mathias

RGB LCD Shield
This is a great shield for the price. Works great and is easy to assemble. It helps to have a good fine point temperature controlled soldering iron/station and those are so cheap anymore. I was missing a capacitor in my kit. NKC sent me a new one right away. I am very pleased with their service.

A high quality shield
A very nice display. The trickiest part of the assembly is soldering the adapter board to the LCD and the adapter board to the shield. There should be no problem if you use a fine tip soldering iron, don't apply too much solder and inspect the work carefully. I use an small loupe to check for solder bridges on fine pitch soldering work & have no problems. I plan to buy a few more of these displays soon. A big thank you to Henning Karlsen for the library he created for the RGB shield.
